JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Learning Development supports the design and development of training across all Marriott disciplines and brands globally inclusive of the managed and franchise, management and hourly audiences. This position requires creativity, flexibility, instructional design expertise, exceptional writing skills and development expertise. Knowledge of design and development methods in the hospitality or service industry is critical to the success of this position.
This individual will design and develop training that facilitates behavior change, transfers critical knowledge, and develops technical and strategic skills in our associates. This individual assists other L D leaders in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and ensuring training meets the business needs and objectives. The individual works closely with business leaders, numerous internal support teams, and vendors to ensure the successful development and integration of the learning deliverables. The Manager, Learning Development is a part of a pool of instructional designers and often balances working on multiple projects across multiple client types at the same time.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $70,838.00 to $151,428.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $70,838.00 to $137,661.00 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $70,838.00 to $151,428.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $70,838.00 to $151,428.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
